Coming from the inner city and understanding the importance of working hard, that is the key to what our schools need.

I have served our country for over eleven years and have gained experience and skills that bring a diverse perspective, innovative thinking, leadership (servant leadership) and service.

• I am currently serving as your Board of Education Vice President with over a year of board member experience.                                                                                                                                                                       

• I have and will continue demonstrate commitment, innovative thinking, and leadership to maintain a high quality education and safe environment for students, families, and staff.                                                                                             

• I personally understands the challenges that a parent may face having a child(ren) that may be Gifted or has Special Needs.

• I am a GMLS Special Needs Parent.
